Light Yoga emerged from the Philosophy of Light Awareness in order to integrate the healing thought and healing effect into yoga. As a healer, philosopher and yogi master, David Wared has been involved with the spiritual structure of the universe since his early childhood, as well as with the essence of man and his physical form. From the family tradition he taught classical yoga from Sanskrit very early on.
In 1974 he expanded yoga based on the Philosophy of Light Awareness to a highly effective healing method, which he calls Light Yoga. Light Yoga is completely open, system-free and therefore independent of cultural, religious or constitutional requirements. Through these exercises man can let the universal light essence flow through his body into all levels.
Man seeks and longs for happiness, and this means experiencing fulfilment in the body, soul and spirit. Physical balance and well-being are important prerequisites for the experience of inner depth from the soul motivation and for the extended knowledge of the True, Original and One from spiritual motivation.
David Wared has expanded selected techniques of yoga to let people follow a royal path that leads to the original life force that effects all life. With the help of Licht Yoga, the Light Essence can be manifested, activated and held in the body. It is a sublime way, because the Lightyogi decides sovereignly from the bottom of his being, instead of being subject to a deterministic system.
Everyone is able and invited to apply his innate freedom of choice with the broadest and deepest possible understanding. He can heal himself and others and stands on the level of creatively gifted beings, provided he accepts his responsibility for it completely and becomes aware of it. This is exactly where Light Essence Therapy and Light Yoga come in.
